    From the celebrated Ratnagiri Estate in Chikmagalur, this Cauvery varietal is grown at a high altitude of 1310 metres. The magic lies in the "Culture Process," an innovative washed method involving cultured yeast fermentation, which creates its extraordinary floral and fruity character.

    A delicate Light Roast is applied to preserve the stunning aromatics of this coffee. This profile allows the elegant notes of rose petal, green apple, and other delicate florals to be expressed with the utmost clarity and brightness.

    Choose this if you appreciate delicate, aromatic, and beautifully clean coffees. It's an experience for the senses, perfect for a thoughtful pour-over that showcases a truly unique and elegant side of Indian specialty coffee.

      At Coffee Plus, we named this coffee Voyager because it represents a journey into uncharted territory - a bold step forward in Indian specialty coffee. Born from Ratnagiri Estate’s groundbreaking Culture Fermentation process, this limited micro-lot showcases what happens when tradition meets innovation. During fermentation, carefully selected yeast cultures guide the development of flavour, creating a bouquet that feels more like fine perfumery than coffee. Each sip unfolds gracefully: rose petal aromatics upfront, crisp green apple at the core, and delicate florals that finish with a gentle, elegant acidity.

      Unlock the elegance of Voyager

      Pour-Over (V60/Chemex): The perfect method to highlight its clean, floral, and fruit notes. Use water just off the boil (92-94°C).
      AeroPress: For a clean, sweet cup. Use a faster infusion time (around 1 minute) to preserve its delicate acidity.
      Flash Brew (Iced): Brew a hot concentrate over ice to create a stunning iced coffee that locks in the rose petal and green apple aromatics.
      Let it Cool: The flavours evolve beautifully as it cools, with the rose petal notes becoming even more prominent.
      Grind Fresh: Essential to capture the volatile and delicate aromas of this unique process.
      Use Filtered Water: To allow the coffee's clean profile and elegant acidity to shine

      It's an advanced technique where specific cultures are used during fermentation. This allows for greater control to create unique, intense flavour profiles, like the rose petal and floral notes in this coffee.

      The combination of the innovative process and a delicate light roast results in a stunningly aromatic cup with a rare floral and crisp fruit character.

      Due to its delicate nature and light filter roast, we do not recommend it for espresso. It is best enjoyed via manual filter brewing methods like a pour-over.

      It is a distinct and elegant aromatic and flavour note, not an overpowering perfume. It integrates beautifully with the fruity sweetness of the coffee.
