    From the high-altitude slopes of the famed Attikan Estate (1650m), this SLN 795 Arabica is a marvel of innovation. After pulping, the coffee is fermented in air-tight barrels for 38 hours with wild gooseberries ("Nellikai"), then slow-dried for 20 days with the fruit and mucilage intact.

    Our Medium-Light roast profile is carefully calibrated to showcase the coffee's unique sweetness and complex aromatics. Expect vibrant notes of sweet lime, roasted almond, a distinct gooseberry tang, and a delightful nutty chocolate, candy-like finish.

      Edoras - the hilltop city of kings, exposed to the wind and sky, yet unshaken. This coffee feels the same: bold, alive, full of energy. At first sip, gooseberry brightness lifts you like a breeze over plains. Then the roasted almond and nutty chocolate anchor you, grounding the cup with warmth and weight. Edoras is a coffee of balance - both regal and approachable, wild and steady.
      Only an experimental lot. A hilltop view reserved for a lucky few.

      How to Enjoy Edoras

      Unlock the Edoras's full potential with brewing methods that highlight its fruity brightness and candy-like finish.
      Best Served: Black
      Pour-Over (V60/Chemex): Use water around 92-94°C and a medium grind. This method will produce a clean, transparent cup, highlighting the sweet lime and gooseberry notes.
      Aeropress: A quick 90-second steep with a fine-medium grind will yield a sweeter, more full-bodied cup with a pronounced candy-like finish.
      Japanese Iced Coffee: Brewing hot directly over ice is the best way to capture its vibrant, fruity character for a refreshing iced coffee.
      Cold Brew: For a less acidic, more rounded experience, try a 12-hour cold brew. The nutty chocolate notes will be more prominent.
      Grinding: Always grind immediately before brewing to preserve the volatile aromatics.
      Storage: Keep beans in our airtight bag in a cool, dark cupboard.

      Creative Ways To Enjoy Edoras

      Transform your brew into refreshing mocktails, indulgent desserts, and comforting pairings – from sparkling sodas to nutty sweets.

      The Edoras Neat: Brew 15g of Edoras with 240ml of filtered water at 93°C using your favourite pour-over. Let it cool slightly before sipping. As the cup cools, the gooseberry tang softens into a sweet, candy-like finish for a layered tasting journey.

      Gooseberry Coffee Soda: Brew a strong 50ml concentrate of Edoras coffee (Aeropress recommended), then chill. In a tall glass with ice, add 150ml sparkling water or elderflower tonic. Gently pour in the chilled coffee and garnish with a fresh lime wheel for a sparkling, fruity refreshment.

      Almond Cake Pairing: Brew Edoras using a French Press with a coarse grind to emphasise its body. Serve alongside a slice of almond tea cake for a perfectly balanced pairing, where the coffee’s roasted almond and candy sweetness complement the nutty dessert.
